Recently, Middle Part (Year 10) pupil Nico received a commendation for his contributions to the University of Cambridge's Democratising Education for Global Sustainability and Justice programme.
Nico took part in the filming of their international online course: Key Essentials: The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Sustainable Development and the Law, which will be available for hundreds of law and policy leaders in highly climate vulnerable countries.
Alongside other students from around the globe, Nico was featured in dialogue with leading experts from national human rights commissions, international tribunals, and several world-class universities.
The Programme Coordinator said of Nico '...his creative and articulate interventions provided an engaging and informative exchange to inspire current and future learners, demonstrating a collaborative commitment to global citizenship.'
Nico was awarded a certificate of commendation from the University for an outstanding contribution to the creation of the international course.
