Economics don

When people ask what I teach, they often say ‘I don’t know much about Economics’, but it is, of course, not the case. Anyone who works, goes shopping or provides for their family – so everyone – is engaging with Economics.

I started my teaching career as an Economics teacher at Epsom College, before moving to Radley College as Head of Economics, their first ever female Head of Department. After a break from paid work to raise my three children, I worked at Peter Symonds Sixth Form College before arriving at Winchester College.

I hope that learning about Economics helps us find ways to improve our lives, understand the society in which we live and appreciate the trade-offs that we have to consider, so that we leave the world a better place for the next generation.
